The Rancilio Silvia is a wonderfully reliable 0.3 liter, single boiler, home machine. Despite Its limited capacity, the Silvia produces great steaming power and remarkable recovery time between shots*. Its simple, robust construction ensures fewer problems with repairs and the new boiler takes advantage of the latest advancements in metallurgy, now using the latest version of lead-free brass in its construction.
* For best results on single boilers, we recommend steaming milk first, then running a shot worth of water through the group head to cool it down before pulling a shot. This prevents the heating element from burning out.
