A 58mm coffee distributor for evening out the grounds in your portafilter basket before you tamp.
Set it on the basket and give it a few turns. It spreads the coffee into a flat, even bed, so water flows through the puck evenly instead of channeling through weak spots. The result is more consistent shots from one pull to the next.
Fits 58mm portafilters, the standard size on most E61-group and prosumer machines, including Lelit, Rancilio, Rocket and La Marzocco home machines.
